Z06 Destroyed On Track Day

Did my 1st track day at Lime Rock Park back in 1994 in my 1992 Corvette. It rained the entire day. I actually left my street tires on and that helped quite a bit. Fortunately no one trashed their car.
One of the "veterans" told me if you want to do a track event then be prepared to possibly have to tear up the title of your car. What he was saying is that a mistake by you or someone near you could cost you a lot of money.
So, if I total my car, I don't expect any sympathy. I took the chance and got unlucky. We're all big boys and girls at the track and if lady luck kicks you in the ***, so be it. You knew going in what could possibly happen.
Yes we all have sympathy for the unlucky person who has a torn up car and do hope he has deep pockets so he can reload.

$600 to avoid $100,000 loss on a 51/49 bet = track insurance.
