Torch Red exterior add-on ideas's
Now that the C7 has been out awhile I'd like to make mine stand out a bit different.
Looking for exterior mod ideas for my Torch Red Coupe: please post up pics.

You're looking at a base model, 1LT, Torch Red, Gray Interior. This C7 is not an expensive C7, but the looks are a killer. The compliments I get on the C7 are enormous. It is a head turner. Allot of the mods I did myself, like painting the side skirts, interior engine fuel rails, splash guards. I did my own installation of all mods, side skirts, front splitter, splash guards, Fatmat soundeadening.
Take a look around. Most people like this car. The nano ceramic paint coating is awesome and the surface has fantastic reflective qualities and has a continuous shine. The windows have been polished, nano ceramic glass coating as well as the Z51 Chrome wheels have anano ceramic wheel coating.
This C7 is kept in better than showroom condition.
MSRP: $64,101
My Cost: $56,088
Added about $1000 to $1100 in modifications

Like some others I have done a few mods to my Torch Red with CF badge package and CF mirror/spoilers.
I have blacked out the chrome strip on the front grille. This is an easy DIY mod - I used a cheap roll of CF tape that is discussed elsewhere on the forums and others have used black electrical tape or Plasti-dip spray.
I chose to put rubber caps on my chrome lug nuts to black them out. Others have used plastic caps or replaced them entirely with black painted lug nuts.
I took off my wheel caps and modified them a little. I used black Plasti-Dip to black out the chrome rings and covered the gloss of the cap itself with 3M CF-look vinyl.
Not pictured, I put on a CF license plate frame that matches the rear fascia, used the Aero plate on the front wrapped in a flexible rubber plate frame, and added GM splash guards (currently left black).

Here's a real cheap one and you will be one of the few to have it!! You can cover your center caps with yellow or red caps for less than $20 bucks and it's easy to do for the unintiated. Plenty of how to videos on you tube and the wrap from 3M (very high quality) should be under $20. I will attach some pics!
