Default Don't run out!

For the record, during the factory tour I was warned never to let it run out of fuel. Reason: Fuel pump(s) are in the tank(s) and will rapidly burn themselves out absent fuel to cool them. As one who has the bad habit of letting fuel get low, I took the advice to heart.

If it is anything like the C6, you will never be able to put more than about 15.5-16 gallons in.

I would really think this is one question people should have known from the manual. Not complicated, a simple table. Don

In the C6, and I assume the C7, the "gas tank" is actually two 9-gal. fuel cells, one on either side of the torque tube tunnel behind the driver and passenger, connected together with a flex pipe over the tunnel.

So you just think GM lies about the size of the tank? I'm not sure why you say "no you didn't"

Wonder if everyone knows you can download a PDF and use a word search. In fact just Googled 'fuel capacity C7 Corvette" and the top link had the info.

I'd call the State weights and measures and have them check that pump!
