Default Impressions of elbow on door armrest

Has anyone noticed that on your arm rest the pad were your elbow rest at least on mine ...there are dents-impressions in the arm rest and they don't ever go back to flat.

If your car ever gets stolen, you will have your elbow print to prove ownership!

I don't lean on the armrest when driving, my arm rest looks exactly as new.

Yeah, both hands should be on the wheel at 10 o:clock and 2 o:clock (unless one hand is doing something it shouldn't be doing.)

Would covering the armrest in Xpel help? Or - maybe remove them and put them on a shelf only to be reinstalled at the time of selling to a new owner?

Mine has a large dip where my elbow rests as well. Doesn't look as bad as that picture, but interesting to know this can be covered under warranty?

Same with me.My left hand stays at around 10:30 on the steering wheel.
My right hand stays on the shifter.I don't own it to drive it like A Cadillac.

And I don't rest my elbow on the rest, so no impressions...other than above.

No imprint on my 3LT armrest in four months. Maybe its a 1LT-2LT thing, as the leather is different.

Not to hijack the OP's thread, nut I thought the correct position was 4 & 8, so you don't get your arms in your face should the airbags deploy.
