Corvette C7 Window Valets are now available from SCP!

Also FYI, it would be a good idea to remove it before taking it in for dealer service. That's where the dealer will plug in to run diagnostics. It's not a warranty issue, but you're better off not having them ask any questions, or having it disappear.

I had one of these on my C5. It may be a nice stocking stuffer for myself.
I don't see any reason why it would interfere with any other top or window operation. All this thing does is hang out in the ODB port and wait to see three consecutive lock or unlock requests. Then it does its thing. Otherwise there's no reason for it to interfere with anything else. I never had issues with it.
Until...
I forgot to tell the buyer of the car that it was installed. He didn't understand why sometimes the windows went down all by themselves. He finally called me and I told him what was going on. Natch in hindsight, I should have pulled it out and resold it.

I had one on my C5, got one for my C7....love it...why didn't GM build this into the car in the first place....just a few lines of software in the BCM....

Why doesn't the C7 already do this? My 2013 370Z did this with the stock keyfob - simply hold down the unlock button to roll the windows down. Seems an obvious oversight and an easy thing for them to have added (with programming only - no extra weight or equipment).

Of course that's what I know but the ad states that the are "other" features. My understanding is that it only operates the windows on a 7 so it just has 1 feature...windows up and down.

Pro
1 Windows up & down
2 Windows 1/2"-1" "cracked" open after up command
3 Using unlock-unlock-lock to trigger the up and down to prevent horn beeps
4 Plug and Play, no programing needed.
5 Remove and no signs of anything ever being installed.
I bought it and will install and see if it is something I will use regularly. I am hoping I'll use the Window Down while approaching the car to relieve the summer heat from it before getting in.

Not Working on a GS?
I took my working Window Valet out of my 2015 Stingray when I traded it for a 2017 Grand Sport, plugged it into the GS and ... nothing. It doesn't work at all. Is it not compatible? Somehow broken?
