Cargo Mat not looking very custom fitted??
This is a photo of Lloyd Custom Cargo Mat available from many Forum Vendors. The mat dose not fit the top corners of the cargo area as you would expect a Custom Product to do so, this photo is of left side , much worse than right side. Here is Lloyds reply to the supplier I purchased the mat from.
The manufacturer has responded and stated that they have check'd the cutter and the file and all of the C7 mats are exactly the same. I have attached some photos they sent as well as pasted their email below.
"Attached please find images of the C7 Cargo. The mat fits like a glove, we checked it numerous times and we have over 30 images. The cladding needs to be pushed out."

Fellow Corvetters who have purchased a Lloyd mat do your's fit like mine and do you think the cladding needs pulling out or can it be pulled out? There images show the mat fitting perfect and cladding about the same as mine?
Appreciate feedback from Lloyd mat purchasers/ users.

I would have to agree, it is not a good fit as a custom mat should be.

My Lloyds cargo mat has a slight gap in both of those front corners, but it does not look to be as big a gap as you have.

Looks pretty custom to me
Maybe that gap is for your finger to be able to get under it to lift it out.

Well the first thing I did when I got my C7 was to order the floor and cargo mats. They fit PERFECTLY and the quality of the carpet is far superior to the OEM. I have ordered Lloyds mats for all my recent cars and I have never had a single complaint or issue.

You would think that they could get the fit better than what is shown in the pic.

That answers to all your questions guys:
* c7fasteddie: Yours is definitely cut improperly. Mine covers the OEM carpet in the corners and fits perfectly all the way around.
* hawkgfr: Did not say the color matched perfectly. I said the quality was far superior to the OEM. I should have also said the color was much better (richer). I would not have been happy if the color matched exactly. I was glad to cover up the OEM carpet which looks drab and faded from the factory.
