There is so much information scattered around so many threads I thought it might help those of us planning our museum delivery if we had an idea how many of us are taking advantage of this option.
I talked with NCM today. I was told my Z06 has been produced and has an event code of 4d00. It is sitting on the lot waiting to be moved over to the museum. They will be moved in VIN # order/date produced. Once NCM gets them they will contact us and give us a choice of available delivery dates.
So here is my info:
Torch Red Z06 Coupe, A8, chrome wheels, red stitching. Produced 6/25. Last 4 digits of VIN #:0254
If you have any updated NCM delivery information please pass it on.
Arctic White Z06 coupe, M7, 3LZ black interior with red accent stitching, spectra grey wheels with machined face, visible carbon fiber hood and visible carbon fiber ground effects.
Mine is off the line on 6/30. Shane has penciled me in for 7/27 R8C, but he won't confirm it until GM starts releasing them. Rumor is next week they will start to get released.

I got "My Call" yesterday from Shane at the Museum, I will be taking delivery on July 31st. Could have been on the 20th but my wife couldn't get off of work so I changed it to the 31st, Ya know, Happy Wife, Happy Life!!!!

Doing my museum delivery 6/21, could of been earlier but I'm still on my cruise and unable to finish up all the paper work in the middle of the ocean along with my salesman on vacation also! Never wanted to have a cruise end but we are talking about our new c7's.

Anxiously waiting on production confirmation then delivery.
Update. My Z06 was released yesterday. Confirmed with Shane NCM delivery 7/16 7:45 am. If you plan on renting a car from Enterprise per NCM instructions that process did not go so well. Did get a car rented though. Gonna stay in BG until Sunday so we can attend the National Corvette Homecoming event. Got my CF side skirts wrapped up and in my ski bag. Hope airline and TSA doesn't give me much of a problem. Only have dealer paperwork left to get. I have an appointment for 10:00 am Monday to get that and ready to go. Yeee Hawwww!

Can you elaborate on that as I was going to use Enterprise per NCM recommendation. I honestly can't remember what I did in 2001, but I don't remember any issues with leaving my car at NCM for someone else to pick up. I don't remember who I even rented with back then.

I really messed up on my plaque... I saw it on the line and was kind of kicking myself that I didn't pay more attention to what I put on there. I'm going to ask how much it costs to make a new one as I was a ding-dong for what I put on it.

Happy to. Went online per the instructions from NCM. Figured out which codes went in what boxes. It then told me no cars were available.
Called the number given in the instructions hitting the correct option numbers. No answer, rang & rang, finally a message came on telling me the person I was calling was not available. Called back & hit the option to make a reservation. That forwarded my call to a national center who told me they new nothing about an arrangement with NCM.
Tried again online without the NCM codes. One day rental one way was over $400. So tried calling the # given by NCM hitting the suggested options. Went thru the same thing with no answer then the same message. The website said they should be open for business. Went thru that process 8-10 more times. Someone finally answered and said he couldn't help me & gave me another # to call. Called that and finally got someone who didn't know what I was talking about but asked me if I had any code #'s. I gave her what I had & she finally told me, "Yeh, one way rental for $100 per day plus fees & taxes = $16?. something. I asked if 1 was available on the 15th & she said yes so I reserved it. Frustrating but I got it done.
