Trim is turning gray
The vinyl/rubber (front spoiler and mud flaps) trim on our 2015 Stingray is turning gray. Has anyone found a good product that will keep it black? Thanks

Wipe New is the best stuff for that issue....I know the ads are cheesy but I tried it and its is awesome and lasts a year or more.

The solution and at a great price...............
303 Aerospace Protectant....priced under $13.00 at Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...l_9m5dwgsl86_b
This is NOT the same product used to seal a convertible top, but is designed just for what you are looking for.
Results are EXCELLENT!

+1 on the 303. It is silicon free and will not harm rubber products. I also have had great success with Liquid Glass Protectant over the years:

Melting Slicks
Black plastic and to some degree black carpet (since the fiber is synthetic like plastic) the color will naturally go to the grey side due to heat and UV unless the plastic contains a protectant when it is made. Best permanent way is to spray paint using a black vinyl paint. The others contain chemicals and maybe a colorant to disguise the grey color. Your choice.

Solution Finish. A little expensive, but it works very well and lasts. My friend used it on his Jeep's black plastic fenders. They looked new and the finish did not wash off.

Surprised noone has already mentioned Turtlewax Ice.
Works very well on both the black and paint. Is long lasting and no residue.

Personally I just use Zaino's Wipe on and walk away sealant. Works for plastic trim too. but my trim hasn't faded yet. The heat method seems to work, but once you do it you will need to apply a protectant to it to keep it that way, otherwise 6 months down the road it will be looking like that again.
