I just put the top up on my C7 convertible. Once it was done, my daughter went to pull down the visor to look at the mirror and apparently, the top snagged the mirror cover and it was stuck between the roof and the windshield. So, pulling it down snapped off the cover. Has anyone else seen this? The mirror was def not open when I shut the top.

There was no reason for it to be open. It's so frustrating. I'm guessing that maybe it wasn't closed flat and the top snagged it when it closed. I had the top up and down 4 times today.

My wife did that to my C5. She pulled down instead of lifting up! I almost bit my tongue off.

Hey, i know its been a while since this post. How did you fit it? One of the plastic hinges for the passenger vanity mirror cover has been ripped off. I am trying to fix it without buying a new visor.

every five minutes. pulling that damn mirror cover open to admire herself. even at night. "um honey i'm trying to keep some night vision over here"
