Default Corvette build site...this takes the cake!

Checked again today to see if the "build a Corvette" site has been updated to the 2016 MY. Of course it has ... not.
BUT when I accessed the site they asked me to take a survey on the site. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I wonder if anyone will read it as I really toasted them on the shameful situation and how the site is pretty much useless till they update to 2016 models.

Was hoping for an "Independence Day" release. Maybe Labor Day?

Before Labor Day. Probably mid-August. Builds should start leaving Bowling Green toward the end of this coming week and it will take some time to build up dealer stock. Once we reach that point. the Build Your Own for 2016 should be active.

This wait is not Corvette specific. It happens for all Chevrolet vehicle lines. My guess is the site is a marketing tool and it makes little sense to direct interested persons to dealers until said dealers have stock on the lot.

Take a look at this thread, it may help in the interim.

That site is missing some info, e.g. indicates n/c for premium paints

I don't think the build a corvette site was working last year at this time.

I might have had my car by the time it started working, my car was delivered at the end of August 2 days before the Labor day weekend.

And some of the opting are incorrect. Good info in assisting but not all accurate.
