Curb Rash
Anyone know of a shop in San Antonio, TX that competently repairs curb rash to wheels?
My wife hit a curb at 30-35 today in our Pontiac G8GT. Left side wheels have damage but I think they’re serviceable. Tires may be another issue but I have a roadside hazard warranty.
May have some suspension damage, hard for me to be sure, the configuration of the driver’s side is different than the passenger side but it is pulling pretty significantly.
Curbrash.com is in the Dallas area, 300+ miles away. Wheeldoctor is in Ohio, not much help. Local Discount Tire rep couldn’t have cared less and said they didn’t do such work. Thanks, Don

Call your Chevy dealer, they might have a traveling shop that stops at their lot to repair used car wheels.
Around here they set up shop at some of the larger dealers a few days a week, you can usually get them to do a wheel or two in between lot work.

Google = "Wheel repair Houston" There are a couple businesses that do wheel restoration. I was looking for someone to touchup one of my GTO wheels a couple years ago. Didn't actually use one of them but curb rash repair was definitely cheaper than a new wheel.

Surely there is a shop in San Antonio that sells custom wheels. Check with them as sometimes they have connections to fix damaged wheels.
