capecodvette, i am interested in your opinion of the spice red interior with the long beach red exterior since you saw them in person. i ordered the spice red package on 2016 z06 vert (sight unseen). i love the exterior color pictures from the bash, and am trusting that gm would not put together a package (red exterior, red interior, red top) that is too matchy-matchy, as they say; what say you?

The Spice Red is more "quite" than AR, not at all "orangie" and is very rich looking. I think that it is similar to Porsche's Boxter Red, of maybe MB's red.
Enough contrast in the colors to catch the eye, but not so much as to make it displeasing. I am certain that you will enjoy the color combination.

I saw that car at the bash and it is spectacular! The Long Beach Red and the Spice Red work well together, as does the top. Some may not like it but most of the people at the bash really liked it.

Great looking color! It's just about the same color as my wife's 15 Acura RDX. I'm sorry they phased out my color, Crystal Red, which I would choose again in a heartbeat. I understand that Crystal Red was not that popular, only 4.7 % of all C7s.

Long Beach Red = Limited Edition Pearl Red 2015
NAPA informs me that their color paint chart lists our LB Red "G1E" as 2015+2016 Limited Edition Pearl Red.
In other words, this paint has been out for over a year. I don't have the time to check across GM products, but my first choice would be Cadillac. Maybe somebody has the time to check this out....it would be good to know for touch-up kits, etc.

Here is another thread on the color: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...beach-red.html.
But lets stay on this one for future inputs.

Picked up my car at the Museum this week and on the plant tour, they indicated that LBR will not be spraying until September and not sure of when they will be released after that.
The new yellow is being sprayed now and is scheduled for release in September.
Sorry....
