Default Open parking lot - fool parks right next to my wife's Stingray

My wife arrived at a bowling alley about 15 minutes before I did and parked in the end spot on one of the last rows. When I arrived, I took this pic, went inside, and told her that some fool had parked right up against her Stingray. She was infuriated! I then showed her the pic...

She was ready to unload on someone...then she realized the other car in the photo was mine! I got her good!

Looks like the weather was perfect, so my question is, why were you driving that instead of one of your Corvettes???

This is just not right..... WHY is she driving the Vette and you an "old lady's car"????

I keep our Vette covered... Wife drives the modded G8 or the quick Brick. Keeps the miles off as we are both too lazy to uncover it.

Default Risky business

You must have some big ole cajones to pull something like that. If I did it, I wouldn't have any cajones left! Good one though.

Good question! This is my work car...I've put almsot 11,000 miles on it since May 1. I had just come back into town from a work trip and didn't have time to go get my Stingray.

My Malibu is great for my line of work and all of the road miles I put on it.

You must be very proud of that fact. And that's a shame.

People still Bowl? I thought that was just in the movies.

Well, at least I know for a FACT that Golfing is on the wane. With, on average, 150 courses being closed every day across the U.S. Thank god that one is over with. The only fun part about Golfing is driving the hell out of the carts. I went golfing one time, and drove the cart into the lake because the brakes were bad on it. that was awesome.

I think your estimate of 54,750 golf courses closing annually is a little high... ; )

There are only 16,000. Courses in the USA total....

If he averages 11,000 miles in 3 months time gas mileage, replacement tires and every other more expensive component is worth considering if a 2nd car is available. When I drove over 100 miles a day I had a Prius for work and my Vette for anywhere else that didn't involve driving my family around.

I think rothchilds was talking about the guy that keeps his Corvette covered up and doesn't drive it. I have almost 19,000 miles on my 2014 Stingray and drove it coast to coast in June!

Well, I still play golf. Every weekend as a matter of fact. Not so much bowling, although we do have an annual triathlon at our club (Golf - Bowling - Bocce), with a lot of drinking interspersed. The wives join us for dinner and drive us home.

And a group of us park our cars together at the club so no knucklehead parks next to us then comes out with a snoot full and swings his door open into one of our cars.

So far it's worked out well. Fingers crossed.
