I found this on my 2015 Nav screen. You can display where the red light camera's are. They may also be speed cams. I do know that it showed me where the red light cam was in my neck of the woods.
GM calls it Saftey cameras
Pull up nag screen, go into menu,open points of interest and then scroll down to safety camera now check the box to show cameras.
It only shows the camera, does not alert by sound.

Nice find indeed! I had a thread about this issue. I even called GM Nav Service (a special hotline not the regular CS), and they seemed unaware. The software does not support a notification on approach of this or any other POI. Indeed, there is a procedure to load your own POI DB with updated camera from some other source like SCDB. I assume this find is part of the maps and not updated dynamically.
