Default Sea of C7's in Tampa

Up here at the "stealership" lost controls on my steering wheel. Love these guys at Stingray in Tampa to death...they truly mean well but I have to tell you I cringe every time I give them the keys...
So I wandered over to the showroom and there has to be 20-30 C7's ( 2- C3's) spread out all over the showroom and front terrace.. I have never seen this many here before. Also a Mclaren 650 S and a Lamborghini. I have not seen any 2016 Camaro's which i found odd..about a dozen Z28's, which surprised me as I thought those were very limited production. How sticky are those Trofeo R tires ??? You can throw a quarter at them and it will stick..(just kidding) ...first time I actually looked at them. Also very rare 2015 COPO Camaro, Blown w/ a Whipple poking out of the hood....

I have been at several Chevy dealers lately and every dealer has a 2015 Camaro Z28 for 76K they are begging someone to take off their showroom floor. If you like Camaros, which I do, you could probably get a very good deal on the Z28. Nice looking car, way over priced.

Stingray is my dealer.

Stingray Chevy is one of the highest volume Corvette dealers in the southeast I believe. They move a lot Corvettes and have the highest number of allocations.

Like you, I don't like handing my keys to anyone but with them. However, I do consider this when I do:

1) Your Corvette is a "dime a dozen" there so it is less likely to suffer from undue attention,

2) They see so many Corvettes that most issues are already familiar to them (less likely to get dumb-founded looks),

3) It is unlikely that the technicians will be using your car as a training article because it won't be the first time they have dealt with your issue.

4) The regional service rep spends more time of the week there and they have a better relationship with them to the end of getting warrantee work approved faster.

5) They have Corvette "team" in the sales department that appear to be true enthusiasts in my discussions with them.

I had a problem with steering wheel controls as well and for me the issue happened after the car had been sitting in the Florida sun for a while. (I got it fixed up the road in Dade City). They ended up changing a module and no problems for the 6 months.

Stingray Chevrolet is my dealer. I love everything about their operation. I have owned 85 cars and trucks in my life and never had a better buying experience. The guys in parts and service are great as well. Very happy.
