Default Tire question and weight recommend

Watching the video from the 2016 Corvette seminar, at 1 hr 7 min
Tadge makes the remark "We have a big meeting with Michelin a couple
of weeks from now" in response to an audience question about all
season tire availability. Has anybody heard anything about this?
Also, regarding peel and stick wheel weights , I spent some time
searching for a quality replacement for the easily removed ones
oem's are using. After some trial and error, I came across these -
http://www.carid.com/hofmann-power-weight/
made by Hofmann and only sold by Carid.com, these are high quality,
availble in colors and easily removed when the time comes. Most tire
shops use low quality foam backed ones that leave a mess when removed
and look cheap (because they are).

re wheel weights. I bought some stick on black weights I carry in the rear compartment to go with my black wheels. A poster said when they had a flat fixed and the wheel balanced the tire shop only had non-painted weights and they looked terrible on his black wheels. When I need new tires or have a flat they will come in handy.
