I wish I could get two tone seats for the Spice Red package I will be ordering next year.

When I drop off my Infiniti at a close friend's bodyshop in a couple of weeks, I will ask who he uses for leather seat repairs/rebuilds. He's been in business for more than 30 years and has an extensive list of ancillary auto repair businesses. Maybe I can have the seats changed after I take delivery.

with those that said the rendering look better.

also the suede insert should be the red or gray not the leather color with a black insert.

I'd rather get plain black seats or go custom then those two-tone options, my personal opinion.

I took these as "BEFORE" pictures 2 days ago. Adding a whole BUNCH of Red&Black Carbon Fiber to the interior from "American Hyrdocarbon" next week. Will post those pictures when the installation is complete...

I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!! I just placed my order last week. I chose the two tone seat based on the "build your own" site which showed the rendering. NO WHERE did GM say, what you ordered is not what your get.

I'm not sure I like the actual color combo over the "rendering". I did not spend $65,000+ and an upcoming LONG WAIT to get something I did NOT expect.

I may change my order to all black.

Cork76063, thank you so much for the post. If you had not provided me with this info when my car arrived in the future I would have said, What da hell is this?

I plan to call the dealer in Monday to see if I can change from the two tone red/black to all black.

If you're still at event code 1100, it's no big deal to change your order. You could always go with black and add red stitching. Same price.

Thanks for the info. Dealer already submitted, can and order be change after its submitted?

Too bad I will now have to settle for 2nd choice...it will leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

Default Pics of two tone black and gray

FYI if you order the two tone configuration with suede inserts, it is double the cost of two tone with the leather inserts

Could someone PLEASE post pictures with lighting that shows the actual color of the gray/black two tone seats with the suede inserts. I want to order a 2LT AW with this interior, but I'm reluctant to place my order until I see photos which accurately reflect what they look like (I'm having the gray carpet replaced with black carpet aftermarket for about $1k)

Default Two tone gray

P.S. I would also welcome pictures of the two tone gray/black with the leather insert configuration for comparison. I thought the black suede insert would look better than the gray leather I nsert, but after looking at the photos of the two tone in leather and suede, now I'm not so sure.

In the photos, the color of the black suede seems less uniform than the leather.

You are more than welcome Maxie - I too favor the renderings over the production color, but I think the actual production configuration would grow on me. Good luck and let us know what you wind up with.

Ok folks...it seems to me like there is a "two tone" interior option - TU7 and a second option - which I think I ordered - Jet Black interior with Adrenaline Red" seat inserts code "703".
I ordered this off the same renderings that show the headrest in black.

Could my assumption be correct? That is, the TU7 "two tone" option carries the red up the headrest but the "703"code maintains the black headrest?

When you order the TU7 "two tone" option it becomes part of the "703 trim package", which includes red stitching around the seats, red stitching on the door panels, red stitching on the steering wheel and red stitching on the shifter leather, and the Tu7 two tone seats which is black outer with adrenaline red inserts including rest headrests, not black headrests. Don't believe GM offers red inserts with black headrests.

You should verify this wirh you dealer.

Correct, basically in the pic below, anywhere you see black seating material only, without the TU7 option it will be red. The red stitching in the black is also added with Tu7 option. The rest is all the same.

I have the solid red seats ..lots of folks like them as do I
However ..the two tone ,, the one you actually get , looks better to me .
to do over .. I would get the two tone.. goes better with the rest of the black interior..
The GM photo looks the worst in my opinion ...

How did they screw that up ..not surprised ...

I agree, how they actually look vs. the rendering to me looks much better. But several guys above posted the opposite feelings - so to each their own. All AR still gets a two tone contrast look because of the seat base, and backs. They look great either way. Your's is a 2016?
