It seems like a popular option, at least from my reading here on the forum. It doesn't sound like a significant boost in horsepower so I assume it is about sounding better. I'm wondering about getting more bang for the buck, or at least more sound by going with some aftermarket parts. I haven't followed our smog laws here in California so I don't know if aftermarket exhaust would be a problem at smog test time. I like the way a V8 sounds when you can actually hear it! There are some other cars that interest me but no matter what exhaust you put on them I have never heard a 6 sound right. Maybe I should have put this in the tech section.

the NPP is sounds really good. I like not having to mess around with aftermarket. people also have reported aftermarket mufflers not sounding much better over NPP anyways.

only thing i would ever change is to add headers.

I don't love the NPP exhaust, nor do I hate it. I do wish it were louder.

I love the NPP exhaust. Totally worth the money. To me it gets plenty loud imo(I'm a young guy FYI). Its louder than almost any other sports car I've driven and ive driven a lot. Its nice to not have to worry about getting harrased for having an aftermarket exhaust. Track got a bit tiring after a while and I found myself using sport which is almost as loud(might go back to track once I get use to it). Zero drone, excellent volume and timbre.
