Default Corvettes at Carlisle pics from MikeFurman@Criswell***

What happens when you mix the following over three days: Perfect weather...5,000+ Corvettes...100,000 people....100+ acres...Answer~It equals one helluva great Corvettes at Carlisle Event! I had my '15 Z06 parked at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Race Track Tent and spoke with hundreds of Corvette enthusiasts daily. I have attended Carlisle events every year since 1978 and the weather could not have been better! Scroll thru the pictures and enjoy.

~Lance Miller being interviewed on the News...

~Lance's Carlisle Blue 2012 ZR1

~G Gordon Liddy going over his Lingenfelter Corvette with Ken Lingenfelter...

~Chip Foose signing Autographs at his tent.

~Harlan Charles driving a C7R

~Rick Niland took this photo of his wife Barb and I. Two of the nicest folks you could ever meet. This is tough work but I know someone has to do it.

~Got invited to the Celebrity Lunch and sat across from Reeves Callaway and Chris Chessnoe. Reeves told a great story about when he visited Zora Duntov's house in Michigan many moons ago.

~My best friend from NJ's son Pino and I. I have seen him grow up from day 1 to age 30 and getting married in November. Love this kid and his Father.

~My Z06 at the Spring Mountain Race Track tent on the Midway. Everyone liked my Laguna Blue Calipers.
Picture from George Vee of my Blue Calipers...

...and many people wanted to sit in my Competition seats...

~Getting interviewed by Rita and her husband from Ohio.

~Harlan Charles with a great Corvette enthusiast, Bill S from PA. Bill just ordered a C7R with matching serial numbers as his 1957!

~I pulled up Thursday morning to the Adams Polishes booth and Adam himself insisted on detailing my Z. Doesn't get better than this.

~Magic man...Ben from Adams is the best!

~Beca and Mike from Alabama picked up their new Z06 right from Callaway and attended Corvettes at Carlisle for the very first time.

~Z06 #66 made the trip down from Mass...

~Spice Red Edition on display. I hear its still two months away from the constraint being lifted.

~Chevrolet had on hand many capable people to talk about the new 2016 Corvettes.

~Thursday morning I pulled on to the Fairgrounds and went to the wash area...stocked with Adams cleaning supplies.

~I proceeded to go thru the vendors and found this magazine with the address label to ZORA ARKUS DUNTOV!

~The new C7R Convt in Black. Check out the tonal striping/lettering in the Convt roof.

~Pair of cool C1's

~Spice red interior.

~ Worlds Fair display.

...and this cutaway is cool..

and as I was driving out of Carlisle yesterday...

~Go for a Sunday drive today and enjoy your Corvette!

~The truckloads keep rolling into Criswell weekly...give me a call on my desk direct line 301-212-4420.

Great pics! Weather was beautiful, and I saw 2 Vettes with kid-sized cars made to match. Future Vette drivers I'm sure!

One of these years I have to get out to Carlisle! It looks like so much fun! It's not really that far of a drive for me either (It's about 7 hours)

It always felt like fall was tuning up when I left Carlisle. Esp if it was in a vert. Back in the day most of the action was on the back side of the grandstand.

Thanks for taking the time on those pics. I enjoyed it.

Your photos exude a Corvette "Family" atmosphere- very friendly and inviting. I almost feel like I attended the Carlisle festivities. I enjoyed them. Nicely done.
