Reviews on the FE2 mag ride ?
Just curious if anyone who has received their 2016 C7 with the new FE2 mag ride suspension on the base car has any feedback on it, especially if they had either owned or driven a stingray with the Z51/FE4 mag ride or non Z51 base car in 2014/2015.

I have had it on the last 2 vettes I owned....my 08 which you could turn it on and off with a switch and now my 2016 Z51 Vert which changes it automatically when I change modes. I do notice a difference from E to T to S and then to Track mode. I have driven a Z51 without the mag ride and it is "harder" than the stingray with it. You really notice the difference on the highway cruising and if you drive spirited it really stiffens up. It is worth the extra money??? For me it was....But then my MSRP was 82,290.00 for a 3LT Convertible....Including the Museum Delivery.

I had it on a 2012 Z51 (aka Grand Sport), a 2015 Stingray Z51, and a 2015 Z06. I doubt that 2016 is any different than 2015. Eco/Weather/Tour is noticeably softer than Sport or Track. Not soft, but softer. It makes touring and pleasure driving a less bouncy experience but gives you excellent road feel in Sport and Track modes. If you bounce between Sport and Tour, as many of us do, it is worth every penny.
Just a guess, but I suspect the non-FE4 cars are somewhere in between. At any rate that seemed to me to be the case with the C6. If that is the case the mag shocks give you a smoother ride for highway touring or bad roads, and a firmer ride for spirited driving.
