Default After Market C7 Racing Stripes

Hi All,
I have purchased the full body racing stripes from Corvette Mods for my 2014 C7 Coupe. These stripes don't have the cut outs and hence I am having a really tough time finding an installer that is comfortable with taking off the front, rear, and corvette (rear bumper) emblems off to do the install.

Does anyone know of someone that has 'experience' installing these stripes on a C7 in the Hilton Head, SC area? Heck - I'll even go to Savannah at this point in time..... Thx for your thoughts...

If you have the stock badges and would consider aftermarket badges, for instance the dark emblems from showstoppers, this would be a great time to swap. They are really easy to remove yourself if your installer is uncomfortable doing that. Not sure why they are, the badges are just stuck on.

You're gonna love the stripes!

Bill - what is the most effective way to take the emblems off? Anything special need to be done for the CORVETTE emblem on the bumper?

As the emblems are double stick tape - do I need to apply new tape to the emblems or is the original sticky tape still typically good??

Soak with Goo Gone (or similar) and use fish line to get under the emblem and "saw" them off. You can also add a little heat (hair dryer) to help soften the glue. I wouldn't attempt to reuse the badges, especially the Corvette letters. Trying to get the tape off of those and put on new tape would not be worth the effort (to me anyway). Plus, it is easy to destroy the Corvette letters. The cross flag emblems are in recessed areas on both the front and rear. There is no recess for the Corvette letters. You can get complete sets of all the emblems for around $120. Here is a set in Carbon Flash:

I took my letters off with fingers and dental floss. (I'm a dentist, it's what I had around! Lol) WD-40 and a cloth took off the adhesive. Used a hair dryer to heat things up a little. Very, very easy.

Silly question - but when taking off the emblems - any issues pertaining to paint (peeling off, etc)?

I was a little worried about the stripes on mine as they are basically just stuck on as well, no issues whatsoever with the paint or stripes.
