NPP add on??
When I ordered my car, I did not add the NPP exhaust. Now I am thinking it may not be a bad thing to add. Touch more power, and a nicer sound. Is adding NPP now a reality or am I dreaming?

It is integrated into the car's electronics, not just a physical add on. You should probably look at an aftermarket third-party exhaust that has a sound you like. If you have not yet reached 3000 you can still add it to the order.

My 2016 C7 has the npp option, and I also have the Borla exhaust made for this car. In one position it's in Touring (sound that is), and in the other position it's in the "S-Type" mode. I find the Touring sound is almost like a normal car - very quiet. The S-Type sound is just right. At 2500 rpm in 5th gear on the highway at 80 mph the cabin is completely quiet. However, when accelerating - especially above 3K rpm - it sounds great.
If I had to do it all over again, I would NOT order the npp option. The npp option is almost $1200, the Borla exhaust for this option is about $2,500, and then the install is a few hundred more. Instead I would get the standard exhaust and then order the Borla S-Type muffler. This would save a bunch of case, and IMHO is made for this car.

flytrade; When I first read this, I was figuring that this was the NEW MATH. You know, where 1 (one) and 1 (one) equals 11 (eleven). As it reads now, $1200 for the NPP OPTION vs $2500 for the Borla exhaust, (plus a few hundred more for the install). To my way of looking at that, (using the old tried and true OLD MATH) the NPP sells for less than half of the Borla system!
It would have actually made sense if you had included the price of the Borla S-Type muffler, providing it was at least close to the $1200, (counting installation.)

I don't think you explained it well in your first post, I now get what you mean, way cheaper then what you spent. Still the S-type non NPP system is about $1400 then an install. I'll take the NPP over that.

Get the Corsa Xtremes w/the double Helix X-pipe. You don't have NPP valves, so no loss there... However, you will have to contend w/the AFM valves, which requires modifying/cutting the OEM mufflers- to reuse the the AFM...
