Mag Ride + Comp Seats worth $15,000?

To me, the first question to ask is "do I really want a new one or am I willing to accept a used one". After making that decision, then think about the options you want. In my case I was willing to accept getting used in order to get a good deal but new would have been nice.
So next I looked at the options I wanted. I really wanted a nearly loaded Stingray with 3LT, Z51, MSRC and some other stuff. A new '15 with the stuff I wanted would have had an MSRP around $73K. My local dealer usually discounts them $4 - $5K so it could probably be had for $68. But, he had a used '14 with exactly what I wanted for $59. So I got what I wanted and saved $9k over going new.
On the other hand, if I had really wanted a new one and was not willing to settle for used, for that money I would have ended up with a 2015 1LT Z51.
But I started out already knowing exactly what I wanted. Sounds like you are not sure. So here's how I see it. Assuming you are willing to go used to save money:
1. Decide how important the MSRC and seats are for you. If you really want them, look around for used '15's that have those options.
2. The 15 2LT Z51 is a really, really nicely equipped car even without the seats and MSRC. And 6K miles on it are nothing. I really wanted MSRC but for your described usage it doesn't seem that important so the '15 seems a good way to go.
3. Finally, If you search your soul and really want a new 2016, you could consider going with a 1LT instead of 2LT and/or even skip Z51. If you really want a new one, its possible to price out a new 2016 for not much more than you are looking at on the used 2015. Even the most basic Stingray is a really nice car and for a daily driver that never sees the track it might just suit your needs.
EDIT: I should not have said suit your needs. None of us needs a Corvette. Remember this is an emotional and not logical decision to begin with. So whatever you do try to keep at least a little logic in there and not spend so much that you don't have any beer money

hard to compare a used car to a new one, obviously the used low mileage one is a better buy. If you think the two cars are otherwise equal no way is the mag ride worth 15K but it sure is worth the 5K that it actually costs new (or 3K approximately in a used vehicle).

Actually the two cars being compared are both Z51's. So the price to add MSRC to the 2016 is only $1795 and I'm sure less on a used one.

In almost every situation you don't need MAG ride, but let me tell you a story where it came in handy. I remember seeing a demonstration when MAG ride came out in the 2003 models. Car&Drriver did a test where they went over a high-speed dip in the road, the MAG ride car handled it with no problems, the base suspension car they also tested bottomed out. Last week during a trip to Carlisle, I was traveling with a friend who has a base coupe, no MAG ride. I have MAG ride, both 2014s. We came upon some construction in the road with a huge dip which my car handling with no problems. I thought I was going to bottom out because I didn't see it till the last moment. My friend was going about the same speed when I heard this terrible sound...I knew he had bottomed out and in fact damaged the bottom of his bumper. MAG ride can compensate that quickly and saved my car from damage. That's why I like it.

I think the OP knows that, but the out of pocket difference for him, between the two cars he's considering, is $15K. He's asking if it's worth buying the new car to get those features.

While I do not get the "employee discount" on a used vette, the 2015 sounds like a great deal to me. But your choice. IMHO, I had vettes with and without the adjustable shocks, and IMHO the adjustable shocks are worth it. But you need to decide. It's your $ and your ride. No one else's.

I have Mag ride on mine and IMHO it was worth the price I paid (I also have and love the comp seats). That being said, you can retrofit different seats if you don't like the standard ones, and the vette still handles very well w/o mag ride (I used strictly non mag ride vettes at spring mountain and they were all great).
If money were an issue, I would go with the 15 and get buckets that you like or retrofit the comp seats backs if you don't like the standard seats. No reason you have to do anything to "fix" either of them. Stock suspension is very good.

I have mag on my Z51 and like the flexibility, my cousin has one without and it still rides/handles super. If I had it to do over again, I'd still order mag ride because I like the technology and flexibility. But either way you can't lose.
Wanted the comp seats to be for me, but they just didn't fit me well. I'm 6'2" 205, and found the GT seats better for me. Sure do like the look of the comp seats though. You might want to sit in both, drive them for a bit if you can, and be critical of how they both really fit you personally. Again, either are very good choices.
The used '15 looks like a really good deal. The C7 will definitely put a smile on your face every time you drive it.

$15,000 dif?
No not worth it, but why are they the only two options? There are a lot of both new and used C7s on the market now. It pays to shop around. And do some haggling.
