Can't hide from anyone
I worked from home yesterday, and during the day I took some time to drive my Laguna Blue C7 to get my back worked on. I'm sitting in the waiting area of the Dr. office and my phone rings - a good friend who says he just saw my car (he's another C7 owner). Five minutes later another call from another friend who also saw my car and wanted to know what was up.
While there are a few C7's in my area, it's funny that I can't seem to go anywhere without being spotted. I guess the awesome looks of the car make people notice. Tough problem to have.

Someday no one will care about the C7, but around here at least it's still odd enough that you have plan on gas station visits taking 10 minutes longer than normal because someone will ask you questions.

It's good to see they are still getting noticed. When I got mine in October of '13 it was almost celebrity status at the stoplights with people taking cell phone pics. I was watching the mirror as much as what was ahead of me to be sure the following drivers were keeping their distance. Enjoy!

Happens to just about any new Vette when they first come out. Good that in the third model year of the C7 that it is still happening. Around here the C7 is still pretty rare, so it may happen for quite a while longer.

I was parked outside Radio Shack today waiting for my wife and kids to eat a nearby restaurant. I was parked there as that was the only place where no cars were! At any rate, I was messing around with the infotainment center and in the corner of my eye I see someone running past my car with their hand on it. Scared the crap out of me. She came back and apologized for scaring me and then went to rear for a bit, huddled down to check out the exhaust pipes and then came up the other side, running her hand gently on the paint. My wife shows up in the Abarth and parks next to me and I get out. She comes out and wants permission to take a picture of the car. Run back into Radio Shack and comes out with her tablet to take pictures. Says she loves the car.
I've never seen someone so enthralled with a car that they wanted to feel it. I guess she could see the Opti-Coat Pro Plus and new that the car was ultra smooth. Or she just loved Laguna Blue.
She was a Radio Shack employee and obviously with no customers in the store noticed that I had parked right outside. She was quite young to. I guess if she was on the forum she could impact the average age thread!
