Default 2017 Model Year Predictions

I know the 2016's came out, I'm just looking for some opinions. I know with the C6, years 2005, 2006 and 2007 came with the LS2 engine. After the 3rd model year, the LS3 was introduced. Do you think there's a possibility something similar happens to the C7 in the 2017 model year where it gets a power bump or maybe an updated/upgraded engine all together?

Power bump, maybe - but small, if any. New power plant - nope.

I have inside knowledge that it will be a mid-engine with 750 HP called the Zora Grand Sport with an A10 DCT trans.

Trust me.

Slight power bump, front grille refresh, and maybe power closing side mirrors ... and/or new Z51 wheels...

Yes, fixing the overheating issues would definitely be nice. Even the LT1 powered stingray has overheating issues? I thought it was mostly with the Z06.

I'd like to see them introduce another model, like Zhuskers said. Something in between the Stingray and the Z06. There's quite a large performance gap between the two. Especially if the new GT350 and GT350R perform the way they say for the same MSRP or even a bit less than the C7 Stingray, then some updates would definitely be welcomed.

I would personally like to see 500+ N/A horsepower, wide body, with some of the gripes people have addressed.

I would love it if they would come out with some big change that drastically reduces the resale value of the 2014-2016s, maybe then the prices on used ones up here in Toronto will drop enough so that I can finally trade my C6 for a C7

I expect we will see 470 or 475 hp out of the LT1.
I expect pricing will increase 2%, 1% on MSRP and 1% reduction of dealer margin.
I expect several color changes: Night Race Blue, Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic, Blade Silver and Laguna Blue will all be replaced = new silver, two new blues (1 light and 1 dark) and ?
I further expect Z51 wheels to get a new design.
And, lastly I expect we will see some significant interior changes.

+1 with the power bump crowd (slight bump - guessing to 480hp)

No idea but will enjoy my current 2015 Vert C7 and be thankful each day for one fine machine. So glad I did not make the mistake of hanging on to my C6 thinking it was good enough.

Well since I had a 2006 LS2 and lived with my "obsolete" car for 8 years and now have a 2014 LT1 Stingray I'll just have to live with what I've got. But I just hope I have as much fun as I had with my C6. So far, it's even better!
