Would somebody mind telling me how many hours it takes to complete this TSB? I have two roofs to get done as well. I want them to take care of it during my 30,000 mile service so I need to know if I should get a loaner vehicle or not.

Thanks.

Thanks.
For my transparent roof/oil change/inspection, it took about 1 1/2 hours.
Roof fix worked beautifully, though my Corvette Tech said it may not help much, it sure did.
Good luck!

It took my tech appx 45 min to do the roof fix. It did help the creaking, now it has a high pitched creak, which the radio usually over rides.

Turning the radio up will cover poor quality build. That's no answer to this problem.

Picked up my new to me (4700 miles) 2015 C7 Z51 Friday. Went to local Dealership yesterday for first free oil change and brought copy of the service bulletin I found on this forum. Thanks guys for all the imput and service info. He had not seen it yet but searched through his computer and told me "We need to order you some parts", no one paying that much for our car should have to listen to irritating noises. Parts on order and should be here next week. Guess I am one of the lucky ones after reading some of the post. Just for information sake I traded my 2012 GS (9800 miles) for the C7. Really surprised in the difference between the 2 cars. I'm really enjoying everything about the C7

Had the oil changed for the winter 12/5/15 and had the fix also done. C7 was built 12/2/14. So far so good.

My 2014 has never made a noise. I am wondering if it just has not gotten hot enough where I live? Thanks for the details at any rate. Good to know.

Mine creaked no matter the temp (mostly hot). Do you have a transparent roof, I am forgetting?
Don't think I ran it when it was too cold though.
The fix helped 100% (so far).

(But if it ain't broke, don't fix it!)

If you take the top off and put it back on---it will creak.

2015 C7 ,16,000 miles, not a peep or a creek, hot weather or cold......OR.......
The wife claims I'm hearing impaired so maybe it does make a noise and I just don't hear it.

No, mine is the body-colored CF roof. I remember I mentioned once that I looked at the 2-roof option when ordering the car, but that was subject to constraint so I skipped it.

Okay, won't fix it!!

I have a 2015 and will occasionally get this noise i pull the hatch open on the roof panel and close it and the noise stops. is this service bulletin covered under the warranty?

Just got back from Ron Craft Chevy (Baytown Texas). Had taken them a copy of the service bulletin last week and they ordered the parts no questions asked. Actually I didn't purchase my 2015 Z51 from them and that never came up during original visit to order parts. Took about 3 hrs as mind was the first they had done. Worked perfectly, no more noise.

Called the dealer, explained the bulletin, they ordered the parts, took my Stingray to the dealer and no more roof noise!
