Default New Engine Bay Mods

I decided to make my own mods. I used extruded 1" angled aluminum and 1/8th inch aluminum plate. Will adding some C7 Stingray emblems when they arrive. Next up will be painting the Plenum, probably Torch Red and Arctic White, or maybe just Arctic White. Who knows.

All this for under $50.00.

You are absolutely correct, and you do not have make any excuses for a work in progress.

I guess some folks never heard the expression "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything".

I guess you're not to say anything if you think it looks hideous....

I simply do not criticize other people for the choices they make with their vehicles. I might say something like "not my choice." But, to each his own. There are lots of folks on this forum who do things to their cars that I would not care for. I don't particularly care for black wheels and splitters or try and dress up their C7 to look like a Z06 when it actually is not, but again, to each their own. I can take the criticism, but being flat out rude is not my nature. Just sayin'.............................:chee rs:

Yeah, pretty much.

ci·vil·i·ty
səˈvilədē/
noun
noun: civility

formal politeness and courtesy in behavior or speech.
"I hope we can treat each other with civility and respect"
synonyms: courtesy, courteousness, politeness, good manners, graciousness, consideration, respect, politesse, comity

Something that's apparently lost in our current times.

...Beauty my friend is in the eye of the beholder....Having said that...over the years this forum has lost some of it's civility...Once a great reservoir of knowledge it has degraded to mostly mocking other members....IMHO

Yes, I did give that some thought. However, since the Corvette designers seem to have gone to the "angled" lines, (i.e. the tail lights and quarter panels) I decided to do the same. Thanks for you input. I appreciate that.

To that point, you are correct. However, there are still many forum members who have been really helpful to me. Pretty good bunch, overall, and I appreciate that. Respect and civility seem to have gone by the wayside in our current day society. Guess I just was not brought up that way. My dad seemed to have a way to instill respect with me.

Its not my cup of tea but if you are happy with the way it looks then that's all that matters.

Don't mind the local resident douche bag on here.

If you put pictures on this site you got to be a big boy and take a hit. If it was that great everyone would agree. Being a designer it does leave something to be desired. Good workmanship but $ 50 notirity is about all you get .Sorry nothing personal .

Not bad, and would like to see what you come with as a finished project.

I can handle whatever comes my way. I suspected not everyone would necessarily like my project, but then again, like I have said previously, I do and that is what counts. And, I do not take your remarks personally. Notoriety, (spelled correctly), was not my intent. No offense taken. My project is not finished, so stay tuned.
