Last fall I sold our dealership (Fichtner Chevrolet) to Underinner Motors. GM declined the purchaser and subsequently assigned the franchise to the Rimrock Auto Group.

I remained at the dealership in an attempt to continue to serve our customers in the same courteous, friendly and professional way that my family had since 1952.

Unfortunately the new owners have a different business philosophy than what my family developed since 1952.

As a result I have joined the team of the largest Chevrolet dealer in Montana and one of the largest in the Northwest.

I am now moved in and conducting business at Denny Menholt Chevrolet in Billings, MT.

Mr. Menholt has asked me to build his Corvette business and we are doing just that!

Chevrolet has been filling all of my sold order requests quickly and now they are filling the pipeline with stock orders!

Ken - does the 50 state emissions mean that no CA buyer can buy? I ask because I might have a referral or two. The lucky jerk could get their car sooner then me if these are CA legal..

Yes 50 state is good for CA.

Looking at the last car on the list MSRP $82,145. You are selling it at about 6.1% off of MSRP and saying that is below dealer invoice? I have seen some dealers selling Sting Rays at 8-10% off of MSRP.

The discount is totally dependent on when the Corvette is or was produced.

GM raised the dealer invoice price and cut the dealer margin for 2016 Corvettes produced on or after July 17, 2015.

We were able to discount Corvettes that we received prior to the price increase by a larger %.

"2016 Chevrolet Corvette Price Increase – Effective July 17, 2015

Chevrolet is announcing revised model year prices effective with vehicles produced on or after July 17, 2015.

This revision affects 2015 Camaro, Caprice, City Van, Equinox, Express, Impala, Malibu, Silverado, Sonic, Spark,SS, Suburban, Tahoe, Trax, Volt and 2016 MY Cruze Limited, Corvette, Impala Limited, and Traverse.

Optional dealer discounts will decrease 3% and dealer invoice amounts will increase accordingly. Model dealer discounts remain unchanged except 2016 MY Corvette.

Dealer price schedules will be available in GlobalConnect effective July 17, 2015.

Sold order price protection eligibility dates are dictated by the customer and dealer order dates as follows:
-Customer order date must be prior to the date of the price increase.
-GM systems order date (date dealer enters in GM system) must be no more than one work day after date of the price increase.
These units will be invoiced at prices in effect at the date of production; however, the dealer open account will automatically be credited for the price increase once the unit has been delivered.

Refer to the price protection effective date on the invoice.

Chevrolet reserves the right to discontinue or change prices at any time, without written notice. All rights reserved.

Please file this administrative message with your 2015/16 model year pricing information.

It is anticipated that this pricing information will be reflected in the Order Workbench Configure a New Vehicle process at 8:00AM EST July 23, 2015."

When I sell a new Corvette I provide a copy of the actual invoice to support my claim.

I was the original founding dealer of the CorvetteForum and I would say that my honesty and ethics are such that you won't find anyone to say that I have ever posted or published anything that is not 100% accurate and true.
