I have a bad one I hate mine. I'm sure now that GM has discontinued the first version (2015) The second version should be much better and work fine.

If it's bad, have GM repair it under warranty.

My '14 ZL1 had a good A6, my '14 Stingray had a better A6. While I haven't yet even broken in my new '16 A8 it is excellent. It doesn't shift as fast as a Porsche PDK at light throttle, it is fast enough and if it is better than my '14's A6 at WOT it will be as fast as I could ever want.

2015 Z51 A8 a bit clunky cold but only a couple minutes, after that great especially under hard acceleration.

God, how many times does this have to be asked on the forum? I think A8 owners will love it and manual owners won't.

Perfect so far. Best transmission I have owned out of 85 cars and trucks over the years.
