Default C7 Lookalike

Ferrari is coming out with a new model called the F12tdf paying homage to the Tour de France. It will have 770HP, and only 799 units will be produced. It looks a lot like a C7 to me.

Tour de France? Shouldn't it be pedal powered?

Simply beautiful. It is as if Pininfarina decided to redesign C7 with his own artistic touches. And it is worth noting that Ferrari still builds a mega buck front engine exotic. I see no reason why the Corvette needs to go mid engine. Gotta love the C7!

I wouldn't say it looks like a corvette. It looks like a Ferrarri F12 (because it is a F12 :p) which came out in 2012 and was clearly used as inspiration for the C7 designers especially in the front end. So really it's our C7 that looks like it, not the other way around. I do love the similarities between the F12 and the C7 though, just the F12 came first is all so we look like it..

The design was inspired by the 1956 250GT Berlinetta Tour De France:

Well actually there are a lot of similarities in appearance. It will be interesting to see how the two compare from a performance standpoint.

That car has 769 hp at 8500 RPMs

I think the C7 will lose that battle...

It will be interesting to see how the F12tdf and C7 Z06 compare performance wise. In terms of price I would expect the Ferrari will be in the stratosphere.

I think it looks even more like a Gen V Viper based on that hood.

I put money that the dam motor & trans does a better job in it than the corvette. But then again for the cost it should..

Lets not be fooled, a 84 Fiero with a Ferrari body kit also looks like a Ferrari.
