Not really surprised for a first year vehicle that is ALL NEW. Some bugs needed to be worked out...

They liked the car once it was repaired, didn't like all the breakages, and mentioned that other C7s they drove didn't seem to have similar problems, if I remember correctly from reading the review a day or two ago.

What better review could you get when the test car is blowing its engine, etc.?

going to be honest. I would be in a AMG GTS or 911 turbo if i could. not a used one, a new one.

the corvette so much more affordable, offers sexy looks, and just as fast as a base 911 or 911S. its going to have down falls.

How could it not be negative. Love the part where GM says a bad filter caused the motor to blow and in the next sentence they say they are investigating for the root cause of the failure. Proves they lie lie lie.

That AMG GTS is pretty sick!!! But I would definitely say NO to any 911!! and on top of that, they are over-priced! But do know all cars can have their share of problems and can breakdown!

Never appreciated any car company that uses first year buyers for beta testing.

So their supposed to build 30,000 units the first year and just let their execs and testers drive them??

Know that....ALL CARS CAN HAVE ISSUES!!

December update? The most recent update on that car was June.

Their long-term tester exemplifies why I avoid first-year cars. They bought a very early car.

The December issue has the 4th part of the long term test. The other 3 earlier parts are the only ones available online. Unfortunately my hardcopy is sitting in a mailbox across the ocean while I'm on vacation. Anyone have a scan?

Concur on the first year thing. Especially with GM, I guess year 3-4 is the sweet spot where they figure most issues out and the car's perfect. Not that every 2014 has issues, I'm sure most people are fine with their 2014s.

Quite a few issues even for a first year model.

Ouch....how unfortunate they got a lemon.

Pretty sad when a Jaguar F-Type is more reliable!
