Default Proud New Owner 2016 TR Z51 Coupe

Picked up at noon, today. Haven't put more than 20 miles on it, but already in-love. This is my fifth Corvette, so not new to the culture. Interior shots didn't turn out, so here's the essentials.
3LT Kalahari, carbon dash, M7. The other stuff you can see in the photo.

By the way, my choice, don't give a hoot what any of you think but I'm REALLY loving the look of the black machine faced wheels. I liked them enough to order, but when I saw in person, I was very pleased with my decision. Perfect for those of us who are done with Chrome, but too old to go with totally black wheels. Nice in-between compromise.

Rev Match. That is so cool. Know intended for track/spirited driving, but found fun around town. Roll up to a multi-lane stop, down shift, don't touch the gas, and the computer blips the engine enough to startle everyone else waiting for the light. Had so much fun, drove around looking for opportunities.

I've only had for a few miles, but have driven several C7's prior to buying, so my opinion is more broad based than today.

One heck of a Corvette!!

Closing, a thanks to the people who administer/develop this forum. I've been a member for 16 years, but haven't posted a photo in some time. In the old days, a pain in the ****. Today, slicker than sh... Thanks.

Off to read the manual....

Congratulations buddy. It looks spectacular! Mine is going down the line right now and should be built by first of next week. I also got a 2016 Torch Red z51 coupe with the painted roof and carbon flash badging. Only exterior difference is I got the silver wheels. The machined ones look great too. I really don't think there's a bad wheel for the red car. Mines a 3LT with Adrenaline Red interior and two-tone red leather and black microfiber seats, also with the carbon fiber dash. It's my 1st Corvette and to make it extra special I'm even going to take Museum Delivery. Needless to say, I'm going to be waiting anxiously by the phone for next week's call from both the dealer and the museum. Anyways, love your car and I'm sure you are so happy with it. Hope you get years of fun out of it!!!

You have good taste! And you are right about no bad wheels. GM/Corvette has stepped up to the plate providing great looking wheels across the price spectrum.

First Vette? Get ready for fun, and fun you are doing Museum.

Default Nice wheels...

Nice color choice :-)

I really like the machine faced wheels on the Torch Red. I get up to Scottsdale quite often. Maybe I'll see you around. Enjoy the new ride.

It looks nice And you know I kind of like the look of those BMF wheels. It is a nice modern look between chrome and black.
