How many C7 owners, own or are buying Volts?
I'm going to be trading in my daily for a 2017 Volt. Just wondering if there are any other C7'ers out there who are looking at one as well.
I'm not in love with the cars looks, size, etc but I love the interaction you have with the car between gas/electric consumption, regen braking, cost of ownership, etc. Looking forward to getting one.

Right here. We owned a Gen I volt that was turned in on a lease return. We will order a new Gen II Volt in December and it will be a stablemate for the 2016 C7. That Volt is an engineering masterpiece.

I was given a 2012 Volt as a curtesy car for almost a week when my C6 was in the shop. Nice car inside. My daily drive is 50 miles total. The Volt got me to work but only half way home on electricity and had to use gas at the end. Gas tank was too small so I found myself plugging the charger in overnight and adding gas too. Hopefully the range as improved since then. My overall impression, not for me.

We own a 2013 Volt Premium that we traded our 2013 Ford Escape in on. Had it since March of this year, we are 100% in love with the car. Installed a 240v charger in the garage about 2 weeks after buying it and it really makes life nice with being able to get ~10 miles of charge an hour. Our best distance on a single charge was 53 miles with 38-42 being typical. Our best streak without buying gas was 10 weeks and 2500 miles.
It is a perfect daily driver, will be looking at a 16 or 17 in the future for sure if not a Tesla. Our daily drives will all be EV's or atleast an EV Hybrid from now on, the Volt is a pure joy to drive.

2012 Volt Premium; great car, absolutely love it! These are the two best, and technologically advanced, cars GM makes in my opinion.
I checked out the new Gen2 Volts at the TX State Fair auto show and the Chevy Find New Roads events and was very impressed with the improvements they've added.

I have a 14, great car and was ready to order a 16 in October, however, GM decided that they were only going to sell them in 11 states, Texas not being one and to top that they are going to start manufacturing 2017s in Feb/Mar of 16 to be delivered late spring.
One other thing the 16s had two levels, bottom being around $33.9K next step up is $37K+ so who knows what they will price the 17s at, very disappointed in GMs approach on this matter.

The Volt is a very nice car and the increased range on the new ones is a real bonus. Would consider one when we need to replace my wife's car in a few years.

Here's my garage
This is our second Volt. They are marvelous vehicles. Instant and silent thrust is addictive.
In 30 months we have driven over 19K miles and have used just 58 gallons of gas. We are averaging over 92% all electric.
Recent trip to the airport
That 10 kW cost me 60 cents.
Until you have driven one you don't how good they are and what your are missing.

I want to get a look at the Bolt when it makes the scene, I really don't have the need for a large vehicle.
I bought a Chevy Trax in March to replace my 2012 Colorado, loved the truck but still it only got teens for MPG.
The Trax is doing well over 33 MPG and its quite nice to drive its what I drive on rain days and I will be using it all winter on my very steep driveway.
The only thing I don't like about the Trax is it has road noise, other than that it has good power and you can park it in small places, its sort of like a older Jeep Wrangler only it passes gas stations.

BTW this was my garage before I bought my Stingray. 2012 Volt and 2011 CTS-V
I know performance and can appreciate it. The Volt is world class on a different level.
