Default Birth Announcement for my new C7 with pics!!!

I am super pleased to announce the arrival of my 1st ever Corvette which was born this morning at apx. 10:00 a.m. in Bowling Green, Kentucky. As you can hopefully see from the amazing pictures taken by the Museum Delivery staff for me, I got to see her touch-down for the first time, a great view of her first smile and that gorgeous display with the big Zero miles indicator. I've got to say a huge THANK YOU to the whole museum delivery crew for sending me these images as the best way ever to let me know my car was just built. I took the very first day I could to take delivery and will be picking her up on Monday, November 30 after she will have spent all of Thanksgiving week on display at the National Corvette Museum. And my birthday is December 6 so this is Thanksgiving and birthday all rolled into one. Anyway, just thought I'd share my excitement on my new 2016 Z51 3LT with adrenaline red interior, two-tone seats, carbon fiber trim and so much more. Can't wait to see her on the webcams on Monday and then in person a week later! And it will be almost 6 weeks to the day since I ordered her from Kerbeck. Amazing!!!! YAY ME!!!!

Very nice but I dont think you will be the 1st to lay rubber in here. Really you will love the car man. The 2 tone interior is great... Robert

I've got the 7:45 a.m. time slot so I think that means delivery around 1:00 p.m. after my 2 hour assembly line tour and then an hour or so museum tour, plus lunch at the cafe. From watching other deliveries online it looks like the 7:45 group gets their cars around 1 and the 10:00 group rolls out of the museum around 3:30 or 4. I'm going to ham it up for the webcams!!! Trust me.

Very very nice---& those silver wheels look a lot better than the blacks on that one IMO. Got some good friends over in Kennesaw(and Cartersville too!)
Enjoy that ride...

I absolutely will Dave! It's going to be a really special day. And I owe so much of it to you and your Kerbeck team. Thanks again!!

I live in Kennesaw/Acworth! That's where she's going to call home. If you see me on the road, wave me over and I will be glad to shake your hand! And thanks about the wheels. So many owners with red cars get the black (ironically with the chrome stingray and "retainer") I love the silver wheels but I didn't want the chrome ruining a gorgeous grill. So I guess I went the opposite way from most. I just love it - and the interior is going to be even more special. Can't wait!!!!!!

It sure looks that way. I noticed the same thing. Kind of surprising that they would backtrack on the slotted rotors. I wonder if it's just the camera angle or resolution or if this is a 2016 change?? Maybe a subject for another comment thread! Thanks.
