This ! I had the '15 Z51 lowered just as soon as 21st could get it on a lift. Absolutely no alignment issues. In fact, the alignment was spot on, well with in the green zone.

You are such an *******. You were obviously bullied in school and feel a need to ridicule anyone who has a different opinion than you.

Does anyone know the precise ride height the factory specifies, if so, what is it and from where is it measured?

I"m not aware of any issue with the car.

I'm not interested in lowering the car but would be interested to see if my car is at factory specs regarding ride height and if not move it to the specification. Don

I am sure that it is a range. The factory shop manual should have the information. The difficulty you might have is actually measuring it. The factory doesn't use tape measures or points on the body.

Do you mean polish versus using XPEL Flawless Finish Paint Protection Film Sealant at least once every 3 months to preserve high gloss (taken from xpel site)?

I'm @ 26.25"/28.25" full slam/full tank

Incorrect trim heights may result in bottoming out/suspension damage/alignment issues or improved stance & handling

You couldn't pay me to lower my car, if we lived in a world of perfect roads maybe, but not in the world I live in.

Never did understand why anyone would want to lower their vette. It must be a testosterone issue.

It has nothing to do with manly crap.....

No, it has to do with huge gaps in the wheel well as has been pointed out here ....and again, we are talking 3/4 in, not ricer drops.....

Ask yourself why every Chevy ad for the c7 shows it adjusted.....(lowered to some)

Some guys can handle it due to good roads, like me, some can't, but there is nothing "stupid" about it. GM gives you the option, standard.

Awesome.

Yes, my ***** are amazingly productive and adjusting my wheel gaps to look less like a Toyota Corolla helps to minimize the ruthless power of these hairy liabilities.

Sometimes my testosterone problem leads me to do things like not shave for a few days and roll my sleeves up. I'm very manly and it's about time I get the recognition for it.

Couldn't achieve the same results by not bathing for a week or so ?

Around here, there are lots of driveway / parking lot / garage aprons that already scrape the rubber flap in front. I don't really want to be any lower.

But if you do lower, you need to get your alignment checked. Let the car settle for a hundred miles or so, and get it in before you get bad tire wear.

Here's your solution. Low when you want it, high when you need it.

Actually this '16 seems to sit pretty nice stock, my '14 seemed a little more 4wd-ish. The gap is even all around, thats good enough for me. When I see a car lowered and the top gap is small and the front/rear gap is large it doesnt look right IMO.

No doubt some cars get the gap better, my old E92 M3 comes to mind, very nice all around stock.

Where I drive I scrape the C7 air dam quite often, much better than my last C6 GS though. I couldn't imagine lowering it but that's just me.
