Have 2016 Z06, trying to install LED under hood lights, have a good ground plane, but am unable to find a suitable 12 volt HOT wire I can tap into.

The fuse box is very complicated and no wires are exposed, lots of small fuses. So, need a constant 12 Volt HOT Wire to splice into on the right hand side of the engine compartment, preferably near the fuse box.

Can anyone offer me any ideas or locations where I can find the Juice?

Thanks Rooster, this is exactly what I was looking for!!


Bought the tap, had to file outside male ends to get it to fit into small fuze socket, but got it done....about 7.00 part at auto store.....


Installing some led's under hood from Radioflyer......if I can get the motion switch to work should be a nice useful mod...
