Hopefully you can post a picture or a working link and then can give you some honest feedback.

I can't get the link to work either. But, I know what they are, installed them on my Shark Gray Coupe with Black wheels, loved the look but hated the product, ended up pulling them off within a week. They just looked cheap to me and I was concerned about them staying on, also didn't feel like they were going to offer any protection against curb rash anyway. So I just went to my sign guy and had him pinstripe the wheels for me, really is the better solution.

I like the look and have the rim blades on my SLK350 but I want to look into the rim bands and see if they are a little easier to control during the installation for my C7. The rim blades are so flexible they are difficult to control when the wheel is on the car. This is photo I had already taken but you can see the red rim blade on the Mercedes. For sure it is easier to get a consistent application if you take the wheels off the car.
Some will like the look and others will not, but always remember it is YOUR car, so what YOU like is all that matters.

I liked the look but for the life of me I could not get them to all stay put. I cleaned the wheels thoroughly, used adhesion promoter, let them sit for 24 hours before driving the car. Eventually one would start coming loose. So I'd replace it. The company sent me a second set. One by one I would replace them as they came loose. Every time removing the old adhesive, cleaning, adhesion, promoter, wait, repeat. Finally after repeated efforts I gave up and took them off. Again, I liked the look, easy to apply, some protection from curb rash - if they could figure a way to make them adhere better it would be a great product.
Here is a side view so you can see what they looked like before I threw in the towel:

C7 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
I personally like them and have a set sitting in my garage waiting for me to install. I purchased the cheaper eBay type, but they all look pretty similar and couldn't see paying $50-$100 for a set when I could get them on eBay for $16 shipped....just my 2 cents.

Anyone have a pic of the protective trim on the stock C7 wheels? I am thinking about doing this mod.
Never mind, someone (stevepre65) posted a pic of the trim on stock wheels. I think it is a go on my end.

Not a fan of them myself, I saw them in person on cars and it was to easy to tell they where an add on. I went with vinyl tape and seems to look more natural, part of the wheel. Received about a million complements, "love the wheels"
Been about 9 months and holding fine, I even pressure wash my wheels. If it does come off the tape is cheap.

These are a great "cheap insurance" pretty soon they will be offering a different texture that will allow you to apply vinyl over the top so your color options will only be limited to the color of vinyl you can find.

It seems from what I have seen on the pictures that the black wheels with the trim strips looks great. I like the VY car also
I could not get the kind of job I wanted and after looking at it for a while on the chrome wheels I decided to take them off.
end of my story

If you're going to do this get 'Wheel bands' (brand name) not rim blades. Rim blades are super wide, sticks out, looks cheap and is just cheesy and hideous imho, total ricer material. Then you have the cheaper ebay knockoffs that look just as bad and don't even stick to your wheels... even worse.
Wheel Bands look OEM are very easy to install and stay on very well. I've drove 1700 miles in rain and wet roads (I live in Portland, OR it's never dry this time of year) and they're still stuck on like the day I installed them. Just make sure you take some rubbing alcohol and keep cleaning them until the paper towel is still clean after wiping the wheel.
Honestly unless I'm on my knee inspecting the wheels I can't tell any difference from the $5,000 OEM wheels with the red stripe.

I installed them on my VY 2015 Stingray in May of this year and no problems. I like them and get many compliments at car shows. They really make the black Z-51 rims "pop." They work for me.
