Default C7 Fuel Rail Covers

Anyone know where one can purchase DSOM Fuel Rail Covers? I've looked and looked but to no avail.

Why not paint the ones you have?

You can paint them yourself, using proper preperation and materials.

There have been many complaints from C7 owners about paint peeling from these covers, before painting. So make sure they are properly prepared for the paint. A properly prepared finish however may not guarentee 100% success since some owners have mentioned concerns of the original OEM fuel rail covers peeling paint.

Painted mine over a year ago (not orange but very easy to DIY if you use adhesion promoter first)

Automotivetouchup dot com will have DSOM. A rattle can and adhesion promoter will cost around $24 before shipping. Or you could check RPI, they have their Black Friday sale and I'm pretty sure they paint those to order for you.

Default Here ya go, Alamo...

DSOM smoothie fuel rail covers from RPI are shown below...

Smooth as glass finish, with Blade Silver lettering. DSOM paint match is perfect.

I also got the plenum cover painted in B.Silver later (by a different forum vendor), cause it was instantly obvious that the OEM textured grey plenum just wouldn't do the fuel rail covers any justice as it was.

Talk to Don at RPI - he'll hook you up.

Doing mine myself this week. Laguna Blue on the fuel rails and Carbon Flash on the plenum. Got the paint from https://www.automotivetouchup.com/ Trying to decide whether or not to paint the lower fuel rails, seems like most don't. I don't know, thoughts? Paint lower fuel rails or no? I am leaning towards no.

It depends a lot on the color you are painting. The driver's side lower rail is very visible. I origjnally did not paint mine. After a week or so I went back and painted the lower rails.

Looks awesome! How did you remove the tube/breather to get the passenger side lower fuel rail cover off? I am afraid to break those tangs into the engines.

As far as what color I was thinking for the lowers - either carbon flash or laguna blue. The plenum with be carbon flash and the rail covers laguna blue. Thoughts? Leave it? Paint?

If you want to try your hand at doing it yourself without the risk of ruining your current set. I have a pair off my 2014 Stingray that I am selling for $45 shipped. Just PM me and I’ll get them out to you.

Unfortunately I broke off one of the tabs. They break off very easily. I prefer to paint the lower rail covers.
