Default Cell phone dock/Mount with QI

Anyone have any recommendations for a good Mount with qi wireless charging?
I was looking at the airdock 2.0... Pricey at $100 but it's really pretty awesome.
However, it's not compatible with my droid turbo because of the ballistic back (it's textured, not smooth)
And I don't like cases on my phone... They make phones too bulky.

I ordered the iOttie HLCRIO132 from amazon for $40 to use as a cup holder based setup (not really intended for that)
Reviews said it can mess up your dash over time, but I don't care about the bottom of my cup holder.
It worked pretty well.
Lots of adjustments to fit any phone.

I guess just an FYI for y'all... Since I had a hard time finding something easy to use and had QI charging

I got the pro clip mount for the hand grip then put a magnetic mount on that. The only downside is you have to put a small metallic disc on the back of whatever you're sticking to the mount. I put my mini on it to run waze and ended up running a wire to a Scosche mount for my phone to the left of the radio. I like my gadgets.

I saw some of those magnetic mounts... The problem I had was with putting the magnet on my phone.
I feel like that would be annoying... And the back of my online might not stick because it's rough textured.

I actually REALLY like that Mount setup though.
I might have to amazon prime that and then send one back.

That is exactly where id want my phone to be and its way less bulky. (Where you have the mini)

The magnetic mounts are only around $12 on Amazon. Yeah the mini looks huge in pictures, but it's not that big when you're in the car.

thanks checking it out now. two things...

how did you mount it to your car? I'm not immediately seeing how you got it to sit just like that.

and also how big is the magnet? I'd have to put it on my phone... which means in and out of my pocket lots of times.

Also, doesn't look like it has QI wireless charging?

The mount is this one:

You wouldn't want the magnet on your phone, the thin little disk is ok with me but even that might bother some. The magnet is thick, about 1/2" maybe?

I don't have QI charging, so you'd have to figure that one out.

Just keep in mind, any piece of metal you mount to the back of your case/phone wil render Qi charging inoperable. Qi and metal plates do not play nice. Ask me how I know.

ahhh yes... unfortunately back to square 1 in that I want the QI wireless charging. There are a million options if I would give that up, but it's too convenient.

that proclip is pretty awesome though. that's perfect if it weren't for the QI

I have a ProClip but not a Qi charger. I just use a fast charger. I have multiple Qi charging pads at home.

I used a different iOttie in my last car, and found that when I needed a charger the most (using GPS to navigate), the damn phone got so hot it would occasionally give me an error message. Qi charging generates a lot more heat than wired charging, and navigating puts a large drain on the battery which also generates heat.

I have noticed that too with the last phones with build in Qi charging.

I think that's a terrible location. It's too low. Mag mount on the center vent for me. It's also much more subtle.
