If money wasn't an issue, I'd choose a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster

Money is always an issue; I don't want to pay much over $100k for a driver, and my garage doesn't allow for another toy. I also feel you have to scale your car to your house and lifestyle. I wouldn't jump to a Lambo or Ferrari unless I moved up in my house.
I have looked at Porsche 911, Audi R8, Jag F-Type R, and Aston Martin V8 Vantage. To get any of these for the price of a new loaded Z06 you would have to buy used, but as these are often toys they can be had with

If i very wealthy i would have a collection of cars. I would have both corvette, and other high end cars.
in regards to the question of picking a 911 or other cars in that price range over a corvette. I would probably buy a 911 or aston martin over a corvette. I have sat in a few 911s and they are very well made cars.
I do however have plans to buy something over 100k in 4-5 years.

If money wasn't a issue I would always take a Corvette over a Porsche. Honestly for myself I would rather have a new Mustang GT vert or a new Camaro SS vert over a Porsche.Just my honest preference in cars

Money no object? McLaren F1
I appreciate and respect them for what they do, but the current Porsche offerings just don't move me like their earlier offerings do. Not one of the regular lineup makes me salivate, or redirect me from where I'm going to get a closer look. Special editions or limited production supercar/hypercar offerings are on a different plane and not exactly comparable imo.
C7 for me.
