Interest in a Third Brake Light Pulser
Would you buy a WebElectric Products third brake light pulser if it were available for the C7 for $60-$75?
Many C5 and C6 owners purchased these plug-and-play units. Here's a description of the product:
I'm going to forward the results of this poll to WebElectric Products to show them how much interest there is in the C7 community for this product and hopefully convince them to invest in developing this for the C7.

These devices are full "Plug-N-Play" harnesses that simply plug into your existing Center High Mount Brake Light. There are no wires to cut, and no adjustments to make.
The module automatically pulses your third brake light when you apply your brakes. The light will pulsate on and off for about a second, then stay on steady for as long as you press the brake pedal. The unit is designed to create a gentle fluttering of light, so your car is more noticeable, yet it doesn't aggravate the driver behind you.
The "Delay-Repeat" circuit means the brake lights have to be off for at least 15 seconds before the cycle can be restarted. So, if you are in bumper-to-bumper traffic, the brake light isn't always pulsing.

then please vote "Yes". WebElectric makes plug-and-play units. Install can probably be done by removing one of the tail lights (as was done on the C5 and C6). There is a post in a thread where a dealer installed a different unit by just removing a tail light.
Proposal to WebElectric will be plug-and-play, no wire cutting/splicing and able to install without having to remove rear fascia.

C7 tailights don't remove like C6, you have to remove the rear clip.

Maybe not:
My local dealership installs Brake Plus on every new car they sell. http://www.brake-plus.com/ On Thursday of this past week, I won a free Brake Plus to be installed on any of my vehicles. Since I purchased my 2014 Stingray from a different told us that there was indeed a way to install it without removing the rear bumper cover. Ten minutes later, Brake Plus was installed on my Stingray! The installation involved removing the passenger side tail light bezel which then provides access to the third brake light cable just to the left of the passenger side tail lights. He pulled it out enough to attach the Brake Plus mechanism and put everything back together.dealership, I asked them to install it on my Stingray. The service manager told me that he would have to take the rear bumper cover off my Stingray in order to install it. HOWEVER, the Brake Plus rep was actually at the dealership at the time and I highly recommend this product because it reportedly reduces the chance of being rear ended by over 40%.

Unless there's some independent valid study saying it has a real, not just perceived or imagined, advantage I'll pass.

Those studies are fine - as far as they go. None of them say that pulsing brake lights have been proven to reduce the rate or number of rear end crashes.
In just over 40 years of driving all over the world I've never been involved in a rear end accident.
