Default Who gets to drive your C7?

For me - everyone who has been "vetted". 1. An adult I consider responsible. 2. A car person who shows real interest. Best Part - they love it and it "makes their day". I always ride shotgun to explain features and make sure they don't abuse it. Best ride and drive - my 24 yr. old niece.

My 28 year old son gets to drive it alone when he wants to which isn't often because he doesn't like my OCD'S when it comes to my Corvette and a few nephews who are in their late 20's and early 30's but that is with me in the passenger seat of course and unfortunately the dealer when something is wrong that's it period..............

My three sons. Recently one returned from a three day trip in it and said "I got stopped by a cop." "How fast were you going?" was my reply. He says "That's not the point of the story." "What is the point?" I ask. "The cop takes my license and your registration back to his car to write me a ticket. Fifteen minutes later he walks up to the window and says "Here's your license. I dropped your father's registration between the seats of my squad car and can't find it. Tell him I'll mail it to him in a few days. Consider yourself lucky and keep it under the speed limit." How about that Dad?" You owe me one son!"

No one but me so far, I would only let someone I have the ultimate trust in, drive my car.

Anyone I know and who asks. It's insured in case anything were to happen.

It's a car, although I enjoy it, there's absolutely nothing special about any corvette C7.

GM is building more every day.

My 16 & 17 year old nephews... I taught them both how to drive stick in my Honda first so they won't burn my clutch or grind my gears.. :-)

Their smiles were well worth it.

Wife ... but she hasn't yet. Between nasty weather and work, we're both kinda bummed out.

Will let my 22 yr old son drive it ... one time.

My son-in-law as he attended Spring Mountain with me. Both daughters have "test driven" and my wife refuses to get behind the wheel.

Pretty much anyone who's interested in it and can drive a stick. As already mentioned by others, it's insured. If it gets broken I'll get another one. Pretty sure I've made a number of people's days who would otherwise never get to drive a new Corvette. Most people are a little intimidated and kinda putz around. You have to encourage them to goose it a little...

Just me. I have a very close friend that wants to drive the car but he hasn't driven a stick in over 35 years so I am hesitant.

No one but me unless I'm in the car. Then I will let my 17 year old son drive it occasionally. I also let a few colleges in work test drive it after it was modified.
