My Z51 has arrived.
My Z51 Premiere Edition has arrived! (Pictured sitting next to my for-sale 2SS/RS)
.but with an ouchie, thanks to the truck driver. Fortunately, he has insurance.
Ugh.

That had to hurt seeing your new Z51 damaged like that. Good luck with the repair.

Okay, more pics!
The Premiere Edition is a Laguna Blue Z51 3LT that comes with those chrome twisty rims, brownstone suede and leather wrapped interior, carbon fiber exposed roof, carbon fiber dash, a special Premiere Edition interior badge, carbon flash painted hood decal, mag ride, dual mode exhaust. It also included the set of Corvette luggage, which did not come with this (I'm the 2nd owner).
Premiere edition vehicles were not for sold orders, but instead issued to the 500 top performing dealerships around the world.

Nice car and color I guess it is a 2014 Z51 enjoy and great attitude about the dent that I am sure you will get fixed very soon. I would be going.Used is the way to go and that's what I did last year with my Z51 vert. Welcome to the Z51 club!

I have Laguna Blue and got black with yellow stitch, but I was seriously considering brownstone. It looks great and I love the premier edition badging. I had never heard of it until today! Sweet. Too bad there is snow where you live!

Thanks, all! I can drive it from in my garage onto my driveway and back, but that's about it.
Fortunately, there will be no snow until after Christmas, so I get to surprise my family with my present to myself - they don't know that I bought it. My little cousins will especially be thrilled. Hah, imagine if I drove it there, parked in the driveway, and put a big red bow on top. I bet the neighbors would go bonkers.
The truck driver really wanted me to go to some body shop that he found, and let him take care of the bill, instead of doing the whole insurance stuff.
I told him that I want the work done at the dealer, and they're going to paint a brand new OEM bumper - no repair work here. If he wants the chance to pay for it, fine, but if he doesn't, I'm making a claim on his insurance.
As for the condition, I've gone over it with a fine tooth comb. Aside from a fixable scratch on the driver's door, and some wrinkling of the driver's seat, the car is in new condition.
I found a sheet in the back from the dealer. Turns out the dealer installed a lo-jack system, a paint coating, etched the vin# into the glass, filled the tires with nitrogen, protective door edge guards, and Xzilon paint coating. I don't see any swirl marks in the paint, but I'll get a better idea after I buff it.
Final MSRP on this vehicle, when new, was $78,800. I'm the 2nd owner, picked it up with 13k miles for just under $53k. Pretty good, if you ask me. I'm guessing I wouldn't have gotten that sort of deal come springtime.

Love the Laguna Blue. Almost bought that color and then at the last moment ran into a Night Race Blue Metallic and immediately fell in love and bought it !!

It occurs to me that with a new fascia, this might be a great time to purchase and have a z06 front grille installed.
Anything else you can think of? (Does the grille require ducts or anything?)
edit: oh, z51 comes with ducts already. Neat. Works just fine with the Z06 grille?

Very nice car. Best of luck with the repair to the front fascia.
