What are the best forum comments?
I really enjoy the forum and seem to see a few posts that crack me up every week so ill start, if this offends anyone sorry,,,,,
1. just pulled the trigger (guy who just bought a car, see it at least 5 times a week post)
2. manual clutches are better then auto trannys,,,,,, (kinda cracked myself up a little there,,,,, I don't really want a tranny heehee)
3. whats the best air filter? (and then the guy steps in and says he gained 50 HP by just added some random vendor who posted a dyno run where he shows 50 HP gained, total BS by the way)
4. coupe (anytime I see the word coupe they are all really coupes, I guess you could call the vert something different but every corvette out of the factory from day one has really been a coupe)
5. Happy birthday to my corvette,,,,,, NO COMMENT ON HIS ONE
6. Finally bit the bullet, I guess this is the same as "just pulled the trigger.
7. whats the best color or black is faster then white. its really in the eyes of the beholder for me
8. what you got?

Being on the Forum is therapy! It's sort of like a brotherhood, bonding and meeting new folks. Problem solving for some, like me. Just the way it is. And no, these are not every day comments, just mine.

So true.
The forum can be fun, but bottom line we are all here to help each other enjoy our Corvettes. As a 1st time Corvette owner with my C7, I find this forum to be invaluable and always try to help others by posting images and informative links when possible. For the most part, everyone here is great.
There are a few members who can be harsh and demeaning to others, and you don't see that on other auto forums.,especially the ones I belong.
The amount of information provided and what I have personally learned has been very valuable to me and I am sure so many others.

Jake repeatedly posting pictures of his car.

I love it when someone posts a pictue of their car and some dummy gives this backhanded compliment: I usually don't like blah blah blah but it looks great on your car.
It is an Internet forum though, so there's a wealth of great stupidly, douchyness, and snobbery. Glad I found it.

In addition I like the "Wow, you paid xx for your car? I got mine for yy." Yy is usually some BS number that is not possible. I look at these comments as " My di*k is bigger than yours!" They crack me up. Bunch of grown men acting like they are back in High School.
Another good one is "Help me pick X". People are so insecure they ask strangers to assist with a personal preference.
The "I like pie" responses are a big one here.
At least one post per thread with the same 10 pictures of their car. I saw one member who does this now has eBay users using his pictures in auctions

Well put. I see it as therapy, especially during the long winter months. Problem solving, learning from others, making friends for sure.

Noob and search are my two favorites. As others have posted, the forum is therapy, a brotherhood (sisters, too) but there are those that won't take the time to help another. Just use the "search function".
Great that they can hide behind some fantasy avatar and drop loads of crap but not help a noob with a simple question.
I LOVE this forum, lots of good people on here, some good humor, great information and a few to many pics of someone 's car...always good for a snide remark or two. But still, I LOVE this forum and all the members that make it so great.
Just don't push that button.

Best forum I have been on. I like it when swirls are discussed and a picture of the car is posted to indicate they have no swirls! Really? All the cars look good after a good washing. You can't tell from these pictures if a car has swirls or not.

I like the silly questions like "What color should I get" or "should I get a stick or auto" or do I need "hud". Actually I like everything about this discussion forum and really enjoy participating and on many occasions actually learning new things about the C7.
