When in doubt on performance cars I always go with manufacturer that were OEM supplier...in this case Michelin. But call TireRack and speak to them plus check reviews on their website for user comments...a great dependable source.

First, you have to be very specific about how you are going to use the car. Somewhere between drag slicks and Hakkaanaan studded ice racing tires is the perfect tire for you.

FYI, there are about 20 versions of Michelin Pilots.... what are your real-world driving requirements?

Your car was tuned for the tires that are on it( yes, suspension are tuned). Change the tires, you should change the suspension. Get a rim/tire combo with more grip, you will see more body roll and different brake away at the limit. The grip of the tires sets the spring rates, the spring rates set the shock damping and sways are used to reduce the grip on the end you want to loose traction.....My advice is if you are happy with the way the car drives. Get the stock tires because the stock tires are not bad..
