**2016 CorvetteForum Bash Dinner**
It's time once again to get on the list for the 2016 Corvette Forum Dinner at the NCM Bash in Bowling Green this April.
Montana Grille is where we held the dinner last year thanks to forum member arcticblast (David) making all the arrangements. He has moved to Florida and asked that I take over the arrangements this year.
I have reserved the Atrium room for the Corvette Forum Dinner. The Atrium will seat about 50 people. If we have more, it will spill over into the main room. As usual, it will be a Dutch treat, informal get-together that will start about 6 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2016.
The Montana Grille is located at 1740 Scottsville Rd in Bowling Green, KY. The food and service are outstanding. The restaurant manager told me that they do not add an automatic gratuity on large groups like ours. They tell the servers that they must earn the gratuity. That was evident last year, as we had very good service. So, plan to come join us, make some new friends, catch up with old friends, and put faces with screen names! Last year was my first year at the Bash, and my wife and I had so much fun we are headed back again this year. We hope to see you there!
Please post the number that you will bring in this thread. I'll try to update the list regularly.
Thanks, and we'll see you there.
UPDATE *** UPDATE **** UPDATE
We are currently (as of 4/7/16) expecting a total of 79 people (let's just say 80) who have indicated that they will attend the dinner. The Atrium room will only seat 50 people so that means we may run out of room before everyone gets a seat if all of us show up!
I spoke with the manager of the Montana Grille about reserving some overflow tables but he told me that there are already several other parties who have reserved tables for small groups that evening. So once we fill up the Atrium, those arriving after that will have to wait in queue for the first available table in the general seating areas.
Of course, we will still have nametags for all and you will be free to visit with the group in the Atrium, in the parking lot, etc., so don't let this discourage you from attending. The best option will be to arrive early. I have the room reserved beginning at 6:00. My wife and I are doing the LT3: Park Mammoth/GTO Heaven tour which arrives back at 3:00 PM. We'll get to the restaurant and be getting situated by 5:30ish. I will be reserving a few seats in the Atrium for some VIPs, but otherwise, it will be first come, first seated.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone in Bowling Green. Start getting those cars ready for the trip and we'll see you there!

Sadly, I may be a walk in this year if I can make it. I just had to cancel my room at the Super 8 because of the pending arrival of our first great grand child.

Just realized the dinner is on Thursday night so I'll have to leave MD early in order to make it around 6 but should be no problem subject to weather and traffic. Thanks for setting this up. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of Corvette fanatics like me. It took 65 years but I finally joined the club.
