Another view of the rear access ports seen in post #32. I do think the ducting (if installed), will interfere with vent nut access from inside the car.

Yes, the vent is completely isolated from the interior.

I just saw the 17th too. This was a good deal, but I can't say I will use it again. I'm just not patient enough to only save $20. If I were to do it again, I would go to an auction site for slightly more, have them within a few days, and be installed by now.

Hey everyone,
Updates on the status of the drop will be by posted by our logistics team in the discussion on Massdrop. The discussion will be the best place to check for updates, but I will do my best to post them here as well.

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 2/17.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 2/11.

So being the car is just sitting in the garage and the vents are on the way I just pulled the original vents out.
Passenger side was (8) T15 torx screws. 4 visible when you open the hatch. 3 when you open the passenger door. 1 in the wheel well very close the the seam or the rocker and quater panel. After those are removed you need to pop the quater panel out from under the quater glass. I did that by pressing down and pulling outward. At that point you get a few inches of play, still kinda tight. You need to remove 2, 8mm nuts from the front of the vent and 1, 8mm nut from the rear of the vent. Then you need to pop the original vent up and out.
The drivers side had a total of (11) T15 screws. 4 visible on the drivers side when you open the hatch. 3 under the fuel door, 3 visible when you open the driver door and the last in the wheel well closest to the seam of the rocker and quater panel.
Freeing up the quater panel and vent is done the same as the passenger side. I had to use a little more force then I liked but it went pretty well. I did have some thin plastic spacers under the screws along the drivers side hatch. They are about the size of quarters but much thinner, lost one of those to the Abyss. The 8mm vent nut would also be easy to lose if you're not careful. Other ppl have also posted these directions, just posting here so it's easy to find.
Now I just need the new vents to slap the car back together..lol.
I Believe there are also YouTube videos that instruct this.
