I ordered that one from vettestripes. I did some measuring and told Mike exactly what I wanted for the dimensions of the Jake. He sent me several designs before i approved and he cut. Some the stripes I had seen left very little vinyl on each side of the Jake .. I wanted more black to make it more durable.
If you give him my userid thats my email ID so he should be able to pull up the file and cut you the same one.

Hi, I am looking for one of these decals as well to go on a Daytona Orange hood. The description on various websites is a little ambiguous. Some show the decal as a black only overlay and you would require the exposed carbon fibre hood below to show the effect. Some say you must have the carbon flash stripe applied first before the jake overlay...? This one that you bought from Trunk Monkey - did it come as shown? Is it a full width two color stripe (black and metallic) and if so, what is the exact part number you purchased? I went to eBay and looked at 23360469 and 23360470 and they both show the same photo and I want to be sure to get the correct decal. Thanks much! Save the wave.
Until I saw a C7.R in person I thought the Jake skull was imbedded into the Carbon Fiber stinger and cleared coated. However .. its just a decal over the Carbon Fiber stinger. I thought that was pretty lame. i think if you get the GM Jake hood decal it will show body color if you don't have a Carbon Fiber stinger .. or will show Carbon Fiber if you have the Carbon Fiber stinger.
I am not finding this item on your web site? I see the standard Stinger stripe but not this one??

Now, there is also a different style Jake Skull logo which only came on the C7.R. This will fit the Z06's and probably the Stingray as well but that has not been confirmed yet.
This looks like what is on the hood of the C7R. Am I mistaken?
The two-tone carbon flash and spectra gray jake skull decal is not the one that came on the C7.R Corvettes - it is just an add-on for the Stingray's or Z06 Vette's to also give those cars the Corvette Racing logo without leaving the painted section uncovered as seen in my previous post. The C7.R Corvettes have the carbon fiber hood and that center section is exposed carbon fiber with the sticker GM#23270637 on the exposed carbon and the rest of the hood was painted either black or yellow depending on which C7.R package was chosen.
Do you know if this will fit the hood of the new GS?

I do believe that it will since the hoods (so far) on the C7's have all had the same width, but we have not yet gotten one in and I cannot confirm that at this time.
All those small pieces of vinyl that make up the design need to be treated with care when washing and drying your car. If you snag a corner it will start curling and lifting.

I would like to order part number 23360469 for my 2014 Stingray. However, I want to make sure that the carbon flash background is included in the decal. I don't want the black Jake with no carbon flash underneath. I want it to look as OEM as possible. Thank you.

yes, it is carbon flash & spectra gray, covers the entire center portion of the hood

I'm seriously considering putting one on my rear window. Do you have any pictures of it being applied on a rear window? Which one would be the best fit and what color would you suggest? The vehicle is 2016 shark grey with carbon flash and the window is tinted.
