Buyer's remorse or what?

Oh well... more to mod :-) I think I am going to swap out for the Z06 style anyways.

I wanted my vette for about a year and finally decided to pull the trigger one day. Being financially savvy in general I had buyers remorse when I woke up the next day just because it is a luxury and not a need. But then I drive the beast and think "I only live once!"
Mine stays in the garage when the weather sucks, otherwise im driving it.

I think this is a great point.

No buying remorse here. Mine was a bucket list car.
Lump in my throat. Left Dr office and stopped to test drive a 06 vette. Called bank no on older than 7 years. But she called Me back and said they would fiance a new 15 or 16. SO wife and I went to look and drive one. Did nit know what a c7 looked like. We looked at a white 15 zo6 lt3 to much AND the dealership went up on priceing to order a 16.. then seen one in Atlanta that was a z51 lt2 it had jest arrived that morning when I called. Houser at hindricks put it away tell bank said go get it. We love it. I drive it EVERY day. The payments. .. well they are a lot of our disposable income. Ins is same as on the 2012 ram truck. No regrets. And the win win is the lump was not cancer .. still no regrets... trophy wife & trophy car
People say nice car and I say living the dream!

Things I would change:
- Carbon Flash mirrors, and spoiler, instead of the body colored ones
- Yellow painted calipers instead of black
- Possibly Magnetic Ride instead of standard
- M7 instead of A8
I bought mine off the lot, instead of special ordering, so I had to get what I got.

Had C6 got C7
I boughot new c6 coup. Sold in 2013 just bought 2015 with less then 7k miles I got what I finally wantedOTE=Steve_R;1591463716]Not really, no. Next door neighbor has a Ferrari; not hugely valuable but not depreciating. He drives it. I drive my C7, which is depreciating whether it's sitting in my garage or I'm driving it.
It's an age old argument with no right or wrong answer. But no, I don't understand buying a mass produced Chevrolet and not driving it. I'm not badmouthing anyone who does that, and the next owner will really appreciate it. That's just not for me as I buy cars to drive and enjoy, not look at and save for the next owner. [/QUOTE]

Son ordered a new C7 and took delivery in November 2015. That started the dominoes falling... I sold my Civic. Bought a used C5 in December 2015. Then decided to trade my Subaru for a used C7vert in January. Hopefully we don't post any FS Corvette posts. Unless of course I am getting a Z06 or a C8.

I shopped around for months and found the exact build I wanted on the lot, pulled the trigger and never looked back. I enjoy each time I drive it so much that remorse never set in.

Buyer's regret? No, didn't have that. But I did have sellers remorse. Within 48 hours of trading my C5, I missed it really bad. If it wasn't for the C7 and what a great Vette it is, I would have deeply regretted the move. It's been over a month now and I think I'm over the C5 but that was one sweet car and I'll never bad mouth that model Corvette.

I don't know about you guys, but I ordered my C7 with a baby on the way.
Now we got another baby on the way, Corvette is staying right where she is! I'll work little extra at work
It's not easy with our average income and our style of living, but we make do.
She sits in the garage mostly and every time I drive it, it's such a special feeling. I really need to take her out more. I put about 3000 in the 11 months I've owned her.
Her build date of 2/23 is coming up. She'll be 1 year old soon! They grow up so fast
That being said no buyer remorse here. Wife sometimes does (as much as she loves the car) but we make payments on it, so it's not the easiest. I'm OK with it.

1) people over extend themselves, and can't afford the car.
2) people that can well afford the car and if it doesn't meet their expectations, they get rid of it and move on.
3) Car has a bunch of problems and people don't want to deal with a problematic car.
4) car is a buyback due to GM not fixing the car's problems.
5) emergency arises and the car is sold.
6) competitor releases a new car that gets the owner of the C7 excited and he trades the C7.
