This paragraph added a day later in response to post #28. Corrected the punctuation error (missing period) in the above. Did not change the opening sentence fragment or second sentence implied subject, as I think most would allow those in informal writing.

I managed to find a used 14 in LRG equipped as i would have ordered from the factory if I could have had done. The only things not on my build list were the Stingray door sills, hood stinger and the flaps. If I truly want these I could easily add them.

The one thing I did not think I would want was the carbon fiber dash. Mine does not have it but it seems to be the only thing I would want. But its not cheap or easy to install.

Many other mods will happen before I ever tackle that one.

The only option that I wish I had on my 15 was MRC. My 2LT had most other options except PDR/NAV which I would never use. My last Corvette was a 1LT with the only options being Z51 and NPP. This time I wanted a few more options.

I can't say i would have gotten mine any differently as it was an ordered car: Base 2LT MN7 NPP in NRB/Black - I was on the fence for NPP, am just glad MacMulkin talked me into it: I would have regretted not getting that.
If I ordered the car now I might get a 1LT instead as I don't use the heads-up display, heated/cooled seats, seat memory or autodim, and having heard the 1LT & 2LT Bose stereos, the 2LT isn't really better sounding just boomier in the 70-100 hz range.

I bought off the lot from Kerbeck at 12% off with everything I wanted. The only thing that would have made it better would be if it had 2-tone interior, red/black, but most dealers were not stocking that. MacMulkin had one on their lot for the same discount, but it also had the dual roof package, so, I would have spent a lot more for options I didn't want just to get the 2-tone seats. I didn't see the need to wait 8 weeks to special order just for that, when everything else was a typical dealer stocked vehicle.

Suede seat inserts. Didn't realize how much I'd like them until I got to Spring Mountain.

I ordered mine exactly how I wanted it and it's been great. After ordering, I decided to change from 2LT with navigation to 3LT (all black). Unfortunately, I was a few days too late and my order couldn't be changed. Now that I have the car I have to admit that the all black 2LT interior is great and I'm very happy with it. Still, if I was doing it over again I'd probably go with 3LT even though I don't think it's worth the extra cost.

The grammar and punctuation in your post above has flaws....

I found my Shark Grey/Kalahari 2LT M7 Z51 in dealer stock (including red calipers, carbon dash panel, carbon flash badge package, black wheels and transparent top). It had everything I wanted except two things: competition seats (with Alcantara inserts, steering wheel and shifter) and carbon flash mirrors/spoiler. When I was looking, I found very few cars with comp seats. Had I ordered (which I'd rather not do, if possible), I would have included those two options. But, the car was there and looked really great. Plus, the deal was right.

I have no complaints. The standard seats are good looking, comfortable and supportive, especially with the 2LT's adjustable bolsters. And the carbon flash mirrors/spoiler...the more I look at my car's color combo, the more I think the body colored pieces were probably the right choice. But, carbon flash would've looked good, too.

Made up my list of colors, with options I wanted and the price I would pay. Picked up almost exactly what I wanted, Cyber Gray, Kalahari interior, 2LT, Z-51 with NPP exhaust, and M-7. It also came with mag ride and yellow calipers that were not on my list, but I'm glad it has mag ride now that I've used it. The only option it did not have is chrome wheels. It's easy to rectify that without buying another Vette.
And, it came in $600 under budget.
Don't tell my wife about the $600.

Got mine exactly the way I wanted it 2LT, M7,NPP,Navigation with Pdr, yellow calipers carbon flash spoiler and mirrors, carbon badges, hood stinger, and Black wheels. Only thing that I really would of liked are the competition seats really like the look of them.

I wish I would have sprung for the Z07 package and went from 2LZ to 1LZ.

I could not pay for what I wanted ( 458 ) but I got my Corvette just the way I wanted it.
And only waited 62 days for it.
